Leadership at the University of Notre Dame

Collaborated with the Directors to develop program assessment measures over the 2019-2020 academic year.
Initiated and conducted an assessment of Writing Center effectiveness on student study-abroad placements.
Launched and maintained a social media presence for the Writing Center on Instagram and Twitter.
Participated in the partnership between the Westville Prison Facility and the Moreau College Initiative to open up conversations with incarcerated students about writing.
Assisted military veterans transitioning to college by tutoring writing skills through the Warrior-Scholars project.
Served as a writing specialist by leading nine Ph.D. writing seminars, directing six goal-setting bootcamp sessions, and conducting two undergraduate revision workshops.
Coached writing improvement in over 150 one-on-one sessions with undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral, and faculty members both in person and through Zoom.

Secured the commitment of up to 50 exhibitors each year for the international HSS Annual Meeting.
Developed exhibitor guidelines using Formstack and organized document updates for team members in G-Suite.
Coordinated exhibit arrangements, shipping, drayage, layout, décor, scheduling, contacts, and ticketing.
Initiated and coordinated a “Grad Student Book Giveaway” and acquired hundreds of post-exhibit donations.

Worked collaboratively to evaluate grant application materials submitted to funding sources.
Reviewed procedures and criteria for submission, evaluation, and selection of grantees.
Collaborated with committee members to create and distribute a new GSU grant application rubric.

Tracked meeting data and produced cohort productivity records for weekly peer writing accountability group.
Represented the Graduate School and two campus centers on Notre Dame Day Live 2018 Broadcast.
Interfaced with Notre Dame Advisory Council to increase support of Graduate School programming.

Advocated for the EL-STEM program to the Notre Dame Advisory Council and Dean of the Graduate School.
Facilitated “The Lab: Avoiding Research Misconduct” at RCR graduate STEM students’ ethics training.
Developed and presented a leadership training workshop on goal setting for 14 STEM Ph.D. students.

Recorded, transcribed, and annotated all conference proceedings into shared Google Docs.
Collaboratively produced a conference report for international stakeholders.

South Bend, IN (Aug. 2017 - present)

Coordinate musician schedule, select and prepare liturgical music, and provide music at masses.
Co-facilitate special workshops and presentations for senior citizens with the staff.

Mishawaka, IN (Feb. 2015 - present)

Direct a 10-person worship band through three rehearsals and four services each month.
Plan, arrange, and schedule worship selections in collaboration with AV and media teams.
Lead a congregation of ~1200 attendees in 20 minutes of worship music once per month.

Hamlin, NY (July 2007 - July 2014)

Rehearsed and directed all regular weekend and special events choirs.
Selected and prepared liturgical music for all holy days, masses, funerals, and weddings.
Oversaw the installation of a state-of-the-art sound system from bid process to completion.
Supervised, maintained, and operated all audio equipment for a 650-seat church sanctuary.
Collaborated with the liturgy committee and pastor on yearly budget and fiscal planning.
